Plast 2015 – international exhibition for plastics and rubber industries

The Plast 2015 took place from 05 May to 09 May 2015 in Milan. Representative of LITHOS Industrial Minerals attend in cooperation with the Austrian Economic Chamber and presented the innovative solutions to the international audience. Furthermore we networked with new costumers.

Nomination Econovius 2015

ECONOVIUS 2015 – the Prize for the most innovative small or medium sized company of Austria

On march 25^th, 2015 the Austrian Minister for Science and Economics Dr. Reinhold Mittelehner granted the National Prize for Innovation to the most innovative company of Austria. The special price ECONOVIUS was granted to a small or medium sized company with the most important innovation of the year. Lithos Industrial Minerals was nominated for the price ECONOVIUS for its innovative new plant protection product “CornProtect”. Dr. Mitterlehner granted a Certificate of Nomination for ECONOVIUS to LITHOS Industrial Minerals. This tribute confirms, that LITHOS Industrial Minerals belongs to the six most innovative small or medium sized companies of Austria.

Karl Ritter von Ghega Preis - The Lower Austrian Innovation Award 2014

LITHOS Industrial Minerals was honoured for its outstanding innovation as the most innovative KMU (small- and medium company) by the province Lower Austria and the Economic Chamber of Lower Austria.

New Managing Director LITHOS Industrial Minerals GmbH

Since November 2013 Ing. Gerhard Fraundorfer took over the General Management of LITHOS Industrial Minerals GmbH. In the past 6 years Mr. Fraundorfer already developed an industrial Minerals sector as a business unit for the former owner Group Asamer.

New owner LITHOS Industrial Minerals GmbH

Since November 2013 the new owner of LITHOS Industrial Minerals GmbH is Dr. Franz Reitbauer. Already since 2008 he acted as Managing Director, while LITHOS was part of the Asamer-Group. Now he took over the company in a management-buy-out. As an independent, private company, LITHOS can be even more flexible and will push its dynamic growth even further.

LITHOS wins the "Success Story 2013"

The joint project with the Linz-based consultancy DYNAXITY to develop the market in France was chosen first place and "Success Story of the Year 2013" during the "Consultant's Night" in the Upper Austrian Economic Chamber. The Managing Director of LITHOS, Dr. Franz Reitbauer, and the Managing Director of DYNAXITY, Dr. Ekkehard Redlhammer, celebrated the award which is in great demand. The unerlying project comprised a new concept and the development of a special network in order to communicate the characteristic qualities of natural zeolite in a new application. FAKUMA 2012 – The Entire World of Plastics Technology

LITHOS Industrial Minerals participated with a common fair on the FAKUMA from 16th to 20nd of October, 2012. The FAKUMA counts to the world’s most important plastics fairs and takes place at the Friedrichshafen Exhibition Centre.

LITHOS offers both high quality talc additives as powders and dust-free masterbatches as granules from one source. Additionally even tailor-made talc-compounds can be offered as granules.

30 years FAKUMA – Mecca of the European plastics industry
In its over 30-year history, the Fakuma international trade fair for plastics processing has become a prominent meeting place for the industry, with international charisma. It holds second place in the overall ranking of international trade fairs for plastics. However, because of the organisation cycle, it is the principal event for the industry in Fakuma years.
